Vertinamas tarptautines prekybos poveikis bendrajam ekonomikos augimui Europos Sajungoje, JAV, Kinijoje ir pasaulyje, lyginami jos ir bendrojo vidaus produkto BVP apimciu augimo tempai. Aptariama skirtingu valstybiu tarptautines prekybos itaka bendroms viso pasaulio prekybos apimtims.

Remiantis BVP prognozemis, nagrinejamos tarptautines prekybos perspektyvos m. Reiksminiai zodziai: tarptautine prekyba, bendrasis vidaus produktas, augimo tempai, prognozes.

The study deals with international trade and its importance. In this paper, the tendencies of international trade are presented, the importance of international trade to economic development prekyba su tendencija overviewed; the increase rates of international trade and gross domestic product in European Union, United States and China are compared.

The paper also deals with international trade in different countries, and in Lithuania as well, with international trade perspectives in Keywords: international trade, gross domestic product, growth rates, forecasts.
